Welcome from the KidGen National Director…….

Given the substantial advancement and place that kidney genetics now has in Australian nephrology, it is fitting that we are holding a KidGen Kidney Genetics Symposium in 2025 during a landmark anniversary of the ANZSN Congress. We are absolutely honoured to hold this Symposium in Perth on Whadjuk Nyoongar country, and to welcome local, regional and international participants.

 This year, given that there is focus on developing the first national Kidney Genetics clinical guidelines, the KidGen Symposium welcomes speakers bringing highly valued perspectives and experiences from abroad. I hope that you will join me in taking time to reflect, engage and connect through the Symposium and over the coming months.
